ACCT’s Sustainable Investments are assessed, monitored, and reported against the applicable delegated acts and the technical screening criteria to confirm whether they are eligible and aligned with EU Taxonomy. Based on the analysis carried out it seems that, despite ACCT’s Sustainable Investments contributing to the protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems and being eligible under the EU Taxonomy, they do not qualify as EU Taxonomy-aligned activities due to the very narrow technical screening criteria to be met under the EU Taxonomy. Nonetheless, as the Fund is still in its investment period all new investments will continue to be assessed in this regard.
